Who we are

TradeDock is trading platform software made by GRAYBYTE LTD, registered in England and Wales, company number 17400790, registered office 128 City Road, London, United Kingdom, EC1V 2NX (“we”, “us”).

Brokers and proprietary trading firms (“firms”) use TradeDock to run trading accounts for their customers. If you trade with a firm on TradeDock, that firm decides why and how your account information is used: it is the controller and we act as its processor. For TradeDock-Demo accounts you open in the app, and for demo requests on this website, we are the controller.

On your device, the app keeps the list of accounts you saved. If you choose “Save password on this device”, the password is kept in the iPhone Keychain, or the operating system’s secure storage on desktop. We can’t read it there.

We do not use advertising, tracking or analytics tools, and we don’t sell personal data or share it for advertising.

Who processes it for us

We use a small number of suppliers, each bound by a data processing agreement:

  • Cloud hosting for our databases, servers and websites
  • An email delivery service, for account and password emails
  • Apple Push Notification service, for notifications on iPhone

Market data providers receive no personal data. For accounts with a firm, that firm also has access to your account data. Some suppliers process data outside the UK; where they do, the transfer is covered by UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

How long we keep it

  • Demo accounts: until you delete them in the app, or after 24 months without use.
  • Accounts with a firm: as long as the firm instructs us, and as the law requires.
  • Sign-in records: 12 months.
  • Demo requests: as long as we need to follow up, and no more than 24 months.

Your choices and rights

  • Delete a demo account: in the app, go to Accounts, then “Delete this demo account”. This deletes the account, its trades and its chart settings from our servers.
  • Remove an account from your device: Accounts, then Edit, then Remove.
  • Accounts with a firm: contact your firm to access, correct or delete your data. We help firms respond.

Under UK GDPR you can ask for access to your data, or for it to be corrected, deleted, restricted or sent to you, by emailing support@tradedock.io. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

This website sets no tracking or advertising cookies. It sets one cookie only when a firm enters its access code for the client docs, to keep the docs open, and it remembers in your browser tab that you have seen the opening animation.

Security

Connections use HTTPS. Passwords are stored only as salted hashes. Sessions expire after 12 hours. Every firm’s data is kept in its own database.

Children

TradeDock is not for anyone under 18.
